We’re hiring a CAD Designer for a Southeast Houston area client!

We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees to join our client’s team!

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

• Location: Southeast Houston
• Pay: $35-40 per hour
• Duration: Direct Hire
• Description of Duties: Create project drawings from blueprints, sketches and photos. Design plans using computer-aided design and drafting software. Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and architects. Help design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques. Add details to plans from knowledge of fabrication techniques. Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects. Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for products. Work with engineers, sales/estimating and shop regarding supervisor’s instructions.
• Requirements: Cadworx (Structure) – a must. AutoCAD Inventor/ Revit – a must. Plant Design (PDMS) – preferred. Tekla (Structures/ PowerFab) – preferred. The use of three-dimensional (3D) modeling is a must. Knowledge of steel construction/fabrication and estimating. Ability to create BOM’s. Auto Cad 2015 - Knowledge of structural steel shapes. 3D Auto Cad.
