In this role, you will supervise storeroom and inventory control operations, and ensures adherence to federal, state and local regulations for food procurement during storage. Operates, updates, and maintains software systems for perpetual inventory, food production, food cost accounting, and billing systems. Supports the Department in special projects requiring automation and maintenance of equipment. Maintains updated database for software systems for food production, food cost accounting, and billing systems. Work closely with the production team to produce reports necessary for recipe development, menu planning, and issue/inventory control. Ensures that all menus and ingredients are properly cost.
This is a full-time day shift position 7:00am-3:00pm including some weekends on an as-needed basis, located at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.
Required Criteria:
- Requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of two to three years of occupationally specific training beyond high school or an Associate's degree and two to three years of
previous experience. - Storeroom & Inventory Control Operations.
- Computer Spreadsheet Software.
- Supervisor skills.
