Pet Sitter and Dog Walker

Seeking to hire multiple on-call pet sitters and/or dog walkers for a small start-up pet care company! This is 1099 contract work. This is a great second income for someone looking to supplement their full-time work. Looking for mature individuals who are detail oriented, self starters, "people people". You must love animals, however you also must love helping PEOPLE.

Our on-call pet sitters are responsible for providing care for pets when their owners are away or unable to care for them. This may involve feeding and providing water for pets, administering medication, taking them for walks, and cleaning up after them. The on-call pet sitter must also be able to communicate with pet owners and provide updates on their pets�?? well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pet care in the client's home for a variety of pets including dogs, cats, and fish
• Follow instructions provided by pet owners for the care of their pets, including feeding schedules, medication administration, and exercise routines
• Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the pet owner (pet care company WILL PROVIDE and pay for Pet First Aid & CPR course to new hires)
• Ensure pets have access to fresh water and a clean living environment
• Provide pet owners with regular updates on their pets�?? well-being via software/app
• Collect and dispose of pet waste properly and clean up any accidents
• Follow all safety guidelines for working with pets and ensure pets are kept secure at all times
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and provide excellent customer service to pet owners

Qualifications:

• Previous experience caring for pets is preferred, not required
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to a schedule
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with pet owners in a professional manner
• Reliable transportation to and from clients�?? homes
• Comfortable working with pets of all sizes and breeds, within reason - safety is our top priority
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk, lift and carry pets of various sizes
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
