Have fun and get paid writing about exciting new products, crafts, and décor styles for the Hobby Lobby Art/Creative Department! In this position you will collaborate with a Team of Professional Creatives, Artists, and Trend Specialists to write highly engaging, informative, and inspirational copy that will reach retail customers and business professionals alike! You will research a vast array of subjects and then write, proof, and refine informative and persuasive content for Video Scripts, Trend Publications, Project Guides, and more! Who you are:

• A self-motivated, strong creative thinker with exceptional conceptualization skills.
• A Professional and Passionate Writer with an excellent portfolio of work, and some demonstrated B2B experience.
• Highly skilled in proofreading and editing with an eye for language, flow, and grammar.
• Extremely comfortable with changing focus quickly when the scope of a project pivots.
• An open-minded team-player who takes constructive feedback gracefully and works collaboratively toward the bigger picture.

What you will do:

• Create short-form persuasive copy covering a wide range of products and trends for use in digital and print media.
• Review project objectives and visuals to brainstorm copy ideas with peers and Clients.
• Become an expert in online market research to provide information that is correct, clear, concise, and captivating.
• Proof and modify copy to convey core message and target audience.
• Stay up to date on copywriting and marketing Trends to keep output fresh and innovative.
