We are looking to employ a
Training Manager for Supply Chain with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. In this role with Dollar Tree and Family Dollar, the training manger is expected to be a strategic thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have excellent research skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
To ensure success, our training manager will understand the Supply Chain business operation and decision-making processes with a keen interest in producing targeted and tangible results by creating an effective and efficient workforce. This includes onboarding, developing, coordinating, and facilitating training matrixes with a focus on reducing turnover and increasing employee satisfaction. Our Training Manager will be innovative, a strong decision maker and outstanding facilitator of learning and change.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience:
College degree required; prior experience in training design, facilitation, coordination within Supply Chain; excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to small group and engage/captivate the audience; ability to develop metrics to measure training success; ability to calculate ROI; Demonstrated proficiency in MS office and related business/communication tools; successful track record of developing and executing effective training programs.
Fully Remote Eligible
Starting Rate = $98k to $108k based on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and assess the training needs of Supply Chain through job analysis, career paths and consultation with managers
- Review existing training programs; suggest enhancement and modifications to improve engagement, learning and retention to meet the changing needs of the organization and the industry
- Ensure training materials and programs are current, accurate and effective
- Own the new employee on-boarding process; review/modify orientation as needed
- Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for training and training requirements applicable to the organization/industry
- Lead programs to assist employees with transitions such as operational changes or industry developments
- Conduct/facilitate required and recommended training sessions
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration/participation in outside training programs
- Assist in the design and development of leadership with development initiatives
- Ensure training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved budget
- Drive mission, vision and core values through all training and development activities
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure training plans are in place and successful
- Develop metrics to monitor and evaluate the success and ROI of training
- Maintain high degree of confidentiality and discretion
