The Sales & Event Operations Associate role is critical to the support of over 2000 annual author events and over 20 annual trade shows. Responsibilities for author events include confirmations, updating the virtual events page, coordinating signings and supporting the corporate AuthorFest and Seasonal Preview series. Trade Shows support includes sponsorship, registration, coordination and shipment of materials, booth setup & budget management for shows across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Education: BA or BS
- Previous Experience in Customer Service, Sales Support or Event Management
- Ability to plan, organize & prioritize a varied workload; Strong organizational and project management skills; Detail Oriented; Website Design Knowledge; Proficient in Excel; Eager to Learn; Effectively communicate with all levels of management; Ability to set and meet critical dates timeline for organization.
The annual salary for this position is $$60,000.00 - $65,000.00
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
