The Certificate of Conduct/Non-Criminal Fingerprint Section provides fingerprinting services and local background checks to the public. The section accepts/forwards subpoenas for units that fall under the Central Records Division.

The Fingerprint Technician Trainees will take fingerprints of persons requesting local or federal background checks, input and/or access information from computer database systems, maintain fingerprint files and records, assist in preparing reports. Minimum Qual Requirements A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent. Preferred Skills Candidates should have knowledge of basic computer programs, excellent interpersonal, customer service skills, a strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail, strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills, ability to pay attention to details, ability to build effective working relationships with peers and staff in team environment, ability to demonstrate flexibility in adapting to a wide variety of tasks and functions, ability to adapt to change. Additional Information In compliance with Federal Law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
