WHAT YOU'LL DO


The Partner Evaluation Analyst is an entry level position on the Partner Evaluation team within the Partner Services Group (PSG).
The Partner Evaluation Analyst will play an important analytical and project management role primarily supporting the Senior Officer Screening Committee (SOSC), composed of ten Senior Partners. The SOSC mandate is to evaluate and nominate Partners for promotion to Senior Partner, which is a significant milestone in a BCG Partner?s career progression. The SOSC process is highly confidential and trusted by the Partnership and therefore relies heavily on significant analytical preparation, rigorous process management and tool support.
Your SOSC team duties will include the following:
  • Maintain and update eligibility model/calculations
  • Help manage communication efforts related eligibility timing with key stakeholders as well as individual Partners, including interfaces with Systems (where this information is posted) and with regional development teams
  • Conduct both annual and ad hoc data analysis using Excel to prepare for major meetings, to enable a year in review look, and to inform evaluation decisions
  • Create and update PowerPoint slides to communicate analysis
  • Maintain records of promotion decisions, analyzing historical decision patterns and querying for specific requests
  • Prepare, track, and store review files throughout the annual cycle
  • Administer and organize the team's working files and collaboration sites
  • Review critical inputs and outputs in our Partner evaluation IT system; act as a custodian of the system?s SOSC-related data, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Conduct analysis and review data to support system enhancements and testing for evaluation tools and processes, in coordination with systems team
  • Create and maintain documentation capturing key elements of processes
  • Learn and leverage advanced analytical tools (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau)

Beyond supporting the SOSC process, the Partner Evaluation Analyst will also be involved in components of the annual Partner review process including Partner feedback, global policies and guidelines, and coordination with Regional and Practice Area evaluation bodies. Given shared data platforms, there will be ample opportunities for projects and teaming with the broader team, and we expect ~20-25% of your time will be on projects in the broader Partner evaluation space.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • Bachelor?s degree required
  • Proficiency in Excel required. Experience with Alteryx and/or Tableau a plus
  • Strong project management and organization skills required. Experience with Egnyte, SharePoint, OneNote, SharePoint, and/or Trello a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Self-starting attitude and proactive work management
  • Ability to maintain and protect confidential information. Maturity and discretion
  • Ability to collaborate virtually and manage time zone constraints
  • Willing to travel occasionally
  • Willing to work occasional long hours, including outside of business hours in preparation for or during meetings (planned in advance)
  • Experience working successfully within a complex matrix structured organization preferred


YOU'LL WORK WITH


You will join the SOSC team, working directly with the SOSC Director (Stephanie Monnet), SOSC Senior Manager (Maria Palermo), SOSC Coordinator (Jen Ryan) as well as be part of the Partner Evaluation team (Marie Solem ? Senior Director, Neha Kalra ? Senior Manager, Liz Wojcik ? Manager, Qiaoling Plumettaz - Analyst) within the global Partner Services Group (PSG). PSG is led by two Partners, Amy Glass in Boston and Ben Holden in London and is a global team comprised of employees located in Boston, London, Singapore and Chicago
