Makara is the first SEC-registered robo-advisor for cryptocurrency investors. Our team built the most robust management platform for digital asset investors at crypto hedge fund Strix Leviathan (https://strixleviathan.com/) and earlier this year we launched a new platform called Makara with the same proven trading technology for retail investors. We believe cryptocurrencies should be accessible to everyone. The industry provides a unique opportunity to invest in early-stage technology, and it has the potential to compound capital at rates unavailable in other asset classes. We are an early stage startup and just closed our series A financing. You will be one of the first full-time hires on the client services team, so you must be self motivated and eager to produce results in a rapidly changing environment. You will have the opportunity to contribute on many stimulating projects including support infrastructure, hiring, product development, automating repetitive tasks and content creation. Skills we're looking for include:

Responsibilities
  • Deliver an amazing client experience, no matter what
  • Help our clients use our product better through online tools and resources
  • Manage inbound client requests and issues via email, phone and chat
  • Identify and assess client needs to achieve resolution
  • Triage tickets to the appropriate stakeholder internally using Slack and Linear. Work with them to resolve the issue as fast as possible
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years experience in customer service (not necessarily in the tech field)
  • Confident verbal communication and polished written communication
  • Experience and comfort with solving complex problems from end-to-end
  • Comfortable with flexible hours, including weekends for comprehensive support coverage
