Description
Assist in the preparation and production of WBZ TV newscasts and other WBZ studio productions
Duties include preparing formats and scripts for shows, operating studio production equipment including teleprompter, graphics and newsroom computer systems.
Set-up and striking of studio sets and various other related duties
Other duties as needed include the preparation of program recordings for air
Check recordings, timing of shows, notifying appropriate departments of program discrepancies
Work closely with the Traffic department, on-air technical staff and the Production Coordinator
Qualifications
Television experience and/or college background in television preferred. Candidate should have familiarity with studio and control room practices, newsroom operation experience a plus. Communications skills are essential. Individual must be able to work flexible hours and overtime, including nights and weekends
