Scope

The Global Tools & Storage (GTS) division of Stanley Black & Decker is currently hiring a full-time Brand Strategist to join the Global Customer Experience (GCX) team.
In this role, you will support the business-to-business (B2B) brand team in strategic and creative marketing solutions that help connect the DEWALT Business Solutions, PROTO, LISTA and Vidmar brands target audiences and drive brand consideration, purchase and advocacy.
Specifically, you will work with cross-functional teams and external resources to drive day-to-day marketing activities. This means you will be a strong project manager and adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other departments and teams.
The Brand Strategist will hold primary responsibility of working directly with the Industrial & Construction team based in Towson, MD, to prioritize and execute work related to the commercialization of our products, software, and service. You will coordinate with stakeholders, drive decisions and ensure marketing projects are delivered effectively and on schedule.
This position reports to the Group Brand Marketing Manager, Industrial based in Towson, Maryland. (Remote work will be considered for qualified candidates.)

Responsibilities
  • Design robust go-to-market plans and marketing strategies, executed across traditional and digital media
  • Deliver brand projects on time, on budget, and with excellence
  • Work closely with internal sales/channel teams to recommend and develop ways for the brand to partner and drive business growth
  • Manage timelines and projects within Workfront and coordinate directly with project teams for complex or high-risk programs and projects
  • Build and maintain a strong working relationship between agencies and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure compliance of the brand standards and maintain consistency of all communication elements across marketing-based activities
  • Ensure projects are tracking to timelines and budgets
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will be a highly driven, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems. He/she will have a successful track record of managing marketing projects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a marketing or brand role – preferably in a B2B environment
  • Proficiency using PowerPoint and strong presentation skills
  • Excellent time- and project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
