Copy of Data Entry Clerk
We are seeking to add a Data Entry Clerk to our team! You will be responsible for database by entering new and updated information from our overseas partners. Prepares data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information received, ensures accuracy when inputting into database. Uses this data to update clients with monthly rate proposals and prepares any rate proposals requested by sales representative. Candidate should be familiar with clerical work, be able to type at least +40 wpm, knows Outlook and Excel, be great with numbers and be able to complete certain of amount of tasks per day.
Enter variety of data using current technology
Prepare and sort documents for data entry
Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes
Review and enter data updates in the systems
Review discrepancies in data received
Advise supervisor of issues related to data
Previous experience in data entry or other related fields
Excellent typing skills
Strong organizational skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Knowledge and Skills:
Basic knowledge of the administrative methods, and an acumen to develop the required administrative skills of the job.
Specific level of software skills as required by the work unit.
Must be proficient in 10 key and possess a 10 key certificate.
Must have excellent problem resolution skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
