Asset Management Inspector
This position performs asset management and construction inspections on various construction projects and material sampling and testing in compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes and other applicable regulations.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $16.68 - $22.69

Duties And Responsibilities
Duties include: provide inspection and inventory collection as assigned for Public Works Department, Asset Management Division; provide field inspections and inspection reports on County maintained earth roads; monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and report performance issues related to department; perform database updates and maintenance; assist Asset Analysist with rating inspections of County maintained assets, to include open and closed drainage, earth roads, signs, sidewalks, and earth roads; insure construction and traffic control measures are conformed with safety rules and regulations; document and archive photographic and/or video records associated with inspections; monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct performance issues related to field data collection methods used by the County; perform related research as requested by immediate supervisor or project manager; perform miscellaneous duties as assigned; assist in County Emergency Operations
Position requires a High School Diploma (or GED), supplemented with two (2) or more years of Data Collection experience.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of construction/inspection methods, materials and general survey techniques required. Must have ability to perform various field calculations and keep and record accurate records. Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication skills and computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a South Carolina license upon acceptance of the position is required. Closing Date/Time: 6/26/2020 11:59 PM Eastern
