Security Clearance Requirement: Current Secret (at a minimum)

Culmen International, LLC is hiring a Junior Management Analyst to support assessment and analysis for military readiness. Qualified candidates will have experience working within the Defense Readiness Reporting System to extract data/information in order to conduct readiness analysis. Prior experience working within the Office of Secretary of Defense is highly desired. All work will be performed on-site at the Pentagon.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Provides technical and administrative support at the junior level for the assessment and analysis of the full range of readiness within DoD.
  • Undertakes efforts to investigate, and analyze complex readiness problems (whether they are associated with force structure, manpower, equipment, budgets, infrastructure or systems) and provide advice and insight about the probable effects of alternative solutions to these problems.
  • Analyzes programs whereby manpower, materiel and training resources are allocated to the total force, Combatant Commands, and programs, evaluating the capability of these programs to accomplish assigned missions in keeping with senior leadership goals and requirements.
  • Analyzes broad, complex, policy, strategy, program or procedural issues utilizing quantifiable criteria with a view toward quantifying the implications in relation to functional areas and department readiness in general.

Requirements include:

  • US Citizenship.
  • Current Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Business, or Research Methods OR a Bachelor's Degree with equivalent analytical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with project management including planning, project timelines, and scheduling.
  • Must possess strong writing skills and attention to detail when preparing presentations, reports, and documents.
  • Must be able to prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, establish task priorities, track work assignments, and develop realistic plans of action.
  • Must be able to present numerical data effectively and able to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental instructions.
