Nature of Work

Incumbent in this position is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the daily operations and personnel of the Multigraph and Mail Services Sections of the City of St. Louis Supply Division. Incumbent reports to the Commissioner of Supply.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Materials Management, Business or Public Administration, or a closely related Procurement field; plus four years of experience supervising or monitoring purchasing/procurement programs. OR aBachelor’s degree; plusfour years of experience supervising or monitoring printing and duplicating/graphics programs. OR a Bachelor’s degree; plus four years of experience supervising or monitoring mail services programs. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted upon request.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS : Thorough knowledge of U.S.P.S. national and local policies, zip code and pre-sort regulations and a full range of automated mail room equipment. Thorough knowledge of printing and duplicating/graphics operations and equipment. At least one year of previous supervisory experience is preferred.
