Don't worry, you can still find yourself in the gameThe RoleNeeds Assessment Support: Assist in conducting a comprehensive needs assessment to identify the specific knowledge and skills required for emerging Racquet Sport Leaders. Stay updated on industry trends, challenges, and desired competencies for effective racquet sports management.Curriculum Development Assistance: Provide support in the development and refinement of the comprehensive RSMA curriculum. Collaborate with the RSMA Director to ensure the curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including tennis expertise, leadership development, facility operations, program development, marketing, financial management, and leadership skills.Industry Partnership Support: Assist in establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the tennis industry, such as professional associations, clubs, organizations, and industry experts. Facilitate communication and coordination with partners to ensure the delivery of valuable insights, guest speakers, mentorship opportunities, and real-world experiences for program participants.Faculty Coordination: Support the RSMA Director in the recruitment and coordination of experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who possess expertise in both tennis and management. Assist with scheduling and logistics to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum, guided discussions, mentorship, and real-world industry experience.Practical Experiences Facilitation: Coordinate and facilitate practical experiences, case studies, and project-based learning within the RSMA program. Assist in creating opportunities for participants to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios, helping them to develop practical competencies necessary for their roles as Racquet Sport Leaders.Networking and Professional Development Support: Assist in organizing networking events, conferences, and workshops that facilitate connections between program participants and industry professionals. Support participants' engagement in professional networks, attendance at industry events, and relationship-building to contribute to their career development.Evaluation and Continuous Improvement Support: Assist in the implementation of an effective evaluation system to monitor the program's effectiveness and gather feedback from participants, faculty, and industry partners. Contribute to analyzing feedback and providing insights for necessary improvements and updates to ensure the program remains relevant and aligned with industry needs.Alumni Engagement Support: Assist in establishing and maintaining an alumni network to foster ongoing connections and support among program graduates. Support efforts to encourage alumni to contribute back to the program through sharing experiences, providing mentorship to current participants, and facilitating industry connections.Workshops, presentations, and site visits as needed. All travel must be pre-approved by the Sr. Director, National Campus, and COO, NTCThis position is considered onsite and specific to National Campus in Orlando, FL. Position is considered Non-Exempt.Who You AreBachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and program managementStrong knowledge of the tennis industry and racquet sports managementExcellent leadership and communication skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholdersPrior experience in faculty recruitment and managementProven ability to identify industry trends and adapt program content accordinglyExperience in program evaluation and continuous improvementProficient in Google Workspace (G-Suite) and Microsoft OfficeOutstanding written, verbal, research and report communication skills What We OfferAt the USTA, we know people are our most important asset. This position is non-exempt.  Any additional pay or benefits a person may qualify for, are not included in this range.
