Thumbnail Designer

Overtime is looking for a new member of the Content team who loves YouTube and is proficient in Photoshop to help us make the best thumbnails in the world. Youâll work across our three main YouTube channels: Overtime, OTE, and Overtime SZN.What Youâll Do:Make thumbnails for shows, full length games and one-off videos across all of our YouTube pagesStudy what works and what doesnât on YouTube and implement those learnings in your workWork with our data team so that we have the highest CTR (click through rate) possibleA/B test thumbnails across our pages so we can keep getting betterThink up unique video ideas that no oneâs done beforeWatch lots of YouTube and stay up to date on what does/doesnât workWork with our production team to make sure weâre getting all the images/assets we need form all our shootsWork with our content team to workshop ideas, give feedback and moreWho You Are:Obsessed with YouTube. You watch it every day, have favorite YouTubers, and consume tons of contentAdvanced at Photoshop, particularly around manipulating pictures and screenshots from videosYou want to try new things...theres no idea too far out to try Comfy with numbers. Weâre gonna be digging into performance, so if youâre scared of dataâ¦General understanding of what videos/thumbnails perform well on YouTubeAbility to work in teams and on tight deadlinesOpen to taking feedback and cutting losses when we make a mistakeIMPORTANT Please include in your application:Submit three thumbnails youâve made and the associated videosWrite up why you want the jobWhoâs your favorite YouTuber and why?Whatâs the best thumbnail youâve ever seen?
