Business Development Representative

The Tax Checklist is a SaaS (Software as a Service) company focused on the Accounting Industry. We are hiring multiple Business Development Representatives to help grow the sales team and contribute to the increase of new business annual recurring revenue. The BDR will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads or potential customers for the sales team. The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a pivotal role in the sales process by initiating contact with potential clients and ensuring qualified leads are passed on to the Account Executives. Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential leads through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social media, and web research. Each BDR will make 32-40 calls per day with the purpose of setting qualifying meets. Outreach: Initiate contact with leads to introduce the company's products or services, gather information about their needs, and determine their level of interest. Qualification: Assess the potential of leads by asking relevant questions, evaluating their budget, timeline, and decision-making authority, and determining if they meet the established criteria for a qualified lead. Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments, product demonstrations, or follow-up calls for the sales team with qualified leads. Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead information in the customer relationship management (CRM) system (HubSpot). Communication: Engage in effective and persuasive communication with potential clients, addressing their questions or concerns and providing them with relevant information. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads, providing them with the necessary background information to close deals. Reporting: Generate regular reports on lead generation and qualification activities, including key performance metrics, to track progress and results. Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the company's products or services, industry trends, and competitive offerings to effectively communicate value to potential clients. As a BDR, you will work closely with your sales manager for continuous coaching, training, and/or mentoring.
