Summary About the Position: Serve as a staff officer in the Community Relations and Outreach Division in the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs located at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA. Duties As a Public Affairs Specialist, you will serve as a staff officer in the Community Relations and Outreach Division in the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs. Review, plan, coordinate and execute community relations and outreach events. Develop and disseminate public affairs and community relations plan. Plan and direct the communication of Department of the Army (DA) information programs, policies and actions using a variety of communication methods. Coach DA spokespeople on effectively disseminating messages through media.
