Corporate Tax Compliance Manager  Boston Area, MA Our client, an international sportswear brand, is seeking a Corporate Tax Compliance Manager for Boston Area location. Responsibilities: The Tax Manager is responsible for critical functions include overseeing the preparation and review of sales/use, Federal and state Corporate tax returns and related reports to ensure compliance with all federal, state and local tax statutes and regulations.  The position supervises 1 other Tax Accountant. • Organize and manage tax research and compliance activities and make recommendations to management to minimize corporate tax expenses and maximize after tax profits and cash flow. • Responsible for the accounting for income taxes, including all financial accounting and reporting requirements. • Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provision and estimated payments. Responsibility for calculation of Current and Deferred taxes. • Management of federal and state tax audits. Requirements: • BA/BS in Accounting or Finance. • CPA with an MST preferred. • 5-7 years’ experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department. • 3-4 years in a management role. • Proficient in US federal and state tax laws. • Exposure to state sales and use tax audits. • Experience in International Tax Law.
