Azalea Orthopedics is looking for a Patient Services Representative to check-in and check-out patients at our Tyler office. The right candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask in a busy environment, and enjoy learning new things. No experience required but preferred. Main duties include: Greeting patient and gathering all demographic information Asking patient to complete any necessary paperwork Scanning ID and insurance cards, entering insurance information into account Checking patients in accurately and in a timely manner Collecting co-payments or previous balances and setting patients up with a financial counselor when necessary Communicating with patients with the utmost patience and empathy Preparing paperwork and reviewing schedules in preparation for the next day Communicating issues and questions to management when appropriate Maintaining patient confidentiality Learning and keeping current on insurance company requirements, co-pays, deductibles, and co-insurance Benefits include weekday schedule, health benefits, 401k with profit sharing, and generous PTO with additional paid holidays.
