At The Infatuation, we're hiring an Art Director to join our Brand team. In this role, you'll work closely with our Executive Director, Brand to ensure all creative is up to The Infatuation's standards, and support all graphic design initiatives. You'll be both tactical and strategic in this position, managing everything from one-off asset requests to full scale marketing campaigns and events. You will work closely with members across the editorial, audience development, and product design teams and be supported by our Brand Operations Lead. This role reports to the Infatuation's Executive Director, Brand. We're looking for candidates in either the NYC or LA area, who are comfortable working in an office several days a week.
Job Responsibilities
Implement and maintain extensive brand guidelines for Infatuation across all consumer touchpoints, staying current on social trends and unique design styles and introducing when/where appropriate
Collaborate with the marketing team to effectively manage creative projects and enhance department productivity, with the ultimate goal of achieving department goals
Partner with brand ops lead and project managers to ensure all assets and requests are executed in a timely fashion
Support editorial and social teams in asset and content creation, such as graphics for Tiktoks and Reels
Work with Photography Manager to maintain high quality imagery
Consult with all departments to ensure consistency of designs across all platforms
Interact with Chase creatives on co-brand initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
You have 6+ years experience in art direction and graphic design
You have 3+ years experience managing freelance/junior designers and have a large network of creatives (i.e. editors, illustrators, designers)
You have a strong sense of typography, design, color, and graphics
You possess expert level knowledge of social media trends , and are c omfortable creating original social media content
Experience with photoshoot production and managing freelance photographers
Demonstrated ability to work in various forms of media (print, digital, social, video, etc)
Ability to understand and balance creative ideas with business needs
