Key Responsibilities:
Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations includes the maintenance, and overhaul of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.
Job overview and responsibilities
Supports aircraft interior repair by performing a review of all interior discrepancies identified by internal and external customers
Ensures all discrepancies identified are documented and scheduled for corrective action
Researches required materials for all interior discrepancies and works with Inventory Performance group to set up and allocate these materials at each station
Enters trouble shooting and reference data on open deferrals to aid the technician in repair of open discrepancies
Reviews new aircraft configurations and changes to current aircraft configurations to ensure materials are set up and allocated to support the repair of these new items
Performs daily interior condition and work ability reporting to ensure cabin maintenance is being performed as scheduled and open discrepancies on aircraft are being corrected in a timely manner
Tracks chronic items that plague the interior condition and on time performance, works with Engineering and manufactures to find solutions
Answers complaints from United Voices and reviews audits from the cabin appearance teams
Opens log page deferrals for these items identified by these groups and schedules them for correction in a timely manner
Reviews and tracks all open interior deferrals and ensures materials are available for the corrective actions
Updates interior deferrals with trouble shooting, workforce requirements, materials and other reference data which will aid in the closing of the discrepancy
Schedules deferrals showing materials are available at a station
Monitors all deferrals requiring materials which have not been set up or are not in stock
Notifies and work with AOG team to order and move materials to stations where work can be performed
Works with inventory planners to ensure AIR locations are allocated the parts to support assigned fleets Alerts Inventory planners of items needing reviewed such as new aircraft and changes to current aircraft to ensure materials are set up and allocated to support the repair of these new items
Reviews all INT deferrals daily to ensure they have been deferred under the proper deferral type
Works with TOMC to correct discrepant deferrals
Researches customer complaints and ensures identified problems have deferrals to address these problems
Reviews audits received from appearance audit group and ensures all discrepancies are documented and scheduled for correction by the AIR crews
Work with inventory planning to ensure materials are ordered to support new installations and allocated to correct stations
Maintains Interior website to aid Line Maintenance and AIR on hard to find items used in the cabin such as decorative coverings, interior paints and bulk extrusions
Help with configuration maintenance of the Cushion and Cover Database
Works with Technical Publications to ensure Interior furnishings manual contains the correct manuals for each configuration.
Monitors tracks and reports on cabin deferrals and their time on wing.

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
High school diploma or equivalent
5 years in the aircraft maintenance industry
FAA A&P Certificate
Valid driver’s license
Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance operations and applicable FAA regulations
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Associate degree or 2 years of relevant work experience
