Provides support to the AR/AP Department in the capacity as outlined below.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Accounts Receivable/Payable
Daily Deposits
Schedule Management: Sublet/AR/AP
Post Warranty Credit Payments into accounting
Verify Daily Sales Tax for Parts/Service Sales
Daily File Runner
Reconciles and deposits service and parts receipts, including charge cards, on a daily basis.
Receipts all monies received from vehicle sales.
Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable by customer.
Prepares cash deposits.
Reconciles statements and follows up collections as necessary.
Prepares accounts receivable statements monthly
Performs background checks on credit applications. Obtains approvals for current charges.
Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks.
Answers accounts receivable phone calls and follows up on inquiries.
Updates customers' account information.
Fills in for other administrative positions as needed and directed by management.
Assists with related special projects as required.
Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area.
Checks all invoices and obtains appropriate payment approval
Prepares accounts payable checks.
Posts all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis.
Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
Reconciles statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules.
Reconciles cash
Communicates cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager
Answers all vendor inquiries
Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary
Maintains a professional appearance and a neat work area.
Stock in new car inventory.
